A great season financially

Liverpool’s annual report, issued yesterday, shows a successful season. The expenditure was £10,676, including £5,104 for players’ wages. The income exceeded the expenditure by £5,875, enabling the directors to recommend the full dividend of 5 per cent. A motion on the paper proposes half yearly meetings of shareholders.
