Mr. Tom Watson has been simply bombarded with inquiries for final tickets, and the ‘phone has been ringing continuously for days. It is estimated that something like 1,500 applications has been made to the office of the club, and there are 350 tickets!
Obviously the thing cannot be done; someone must go without, and the task of allotting the tickets is not an enviable one by any means.
