The news of the transfer of Jim Roberts from Crewe to Everton has been received with much interest at Mold.
After playing for two or three season with Mold Team, in the Liverpool County Combination, Roberts signed on for Wrexham (Birmingham League), playing with them in the 1911-12 and 1912-13 seasons.
Last year he joined Crewe, and has given finished exhibitions in their Central League matches. He has also had the honour of playing in several internationals.
