Bookman, the Bradford City outside left, has been transferred to West Bromwich Albion. Bookman, who is a Jew, is an attractive player, with a rare turn of speed. He rapidly gained advancement to senior football for he left the Frankfort club (Dublin) for Belfast Celtic in the season 1911-12, secured his amateur international cap in November of the same season, and went to Bradford City in January, 1912 as a professional.
