When facing Liverpool at Anfield tomorrow, Middlesbrough tackle the most inconsistent team in the League, and no surprise, therefore, need be felt whatever the result may be.
Last season Middlesbrough lost by the odd goal in three, and no doubt a great effort will be forthcoming to improve on that result. John Walker returns to the defence, though why Jimmy Weir has been dropped is not at all clear, and in the forward line Tom Storey plays for Archie Wilson at outside right.
