Lieutenant Arnold Dargie, now in a training camp with his regiment, competing at the Northern Welsh Counties Fur and Feather Show at Llandudno, carried off four firsts, four specials, the cup for the best racing homer pigeon in the show, and Lord Mostyn’s grand Challenge Cup for the best pigeon in the show under all judges. The Challenge Cup had previously been won by fancy pigeons only.
