The Torrance “two thousand”

Saturday, October 2 – 1915
A paragraph in the “Sportsman” states that Bob Torrance, of Bradford City, has resisted all attempts to persuade him to play for a Scottish club this season. He is at work in Kirkintilloch, where he has just completed his apprenticeship.

He is assured of employment on munition work at Bradford, and it is likely he will find his way back there before the season is much older.

Bradford City hold his transfer, which they put down at £2,000.
