George Livingston in the Army

October 5, 1915
George Livingston, the well-known Scottish international and Manchester United player, is to be lost to the game for the time being. For months Livingstone has been endeavoring to get his services utilised in the manufacture of munitions, but without success. Along with his wife, he became interested in the Wood Lawn Hospital, and having passed the necessary examination he has now joined the R.A.M.C.

Livingstone leaves Manchester to-day to take up his duties at Netley Hospital.
