William Pickering, Burnley reserve centre forward, has enlisted in the Seaforth Highlanders. In season 1912-13 he scored 33 goals with the Burnley reserve team, and has since then appeared with the League eleven on several occasions.
At the beginning of the season he played with the Johnstone F.C., and a few weeks ago was loaned by them to Greenock Morton, scoring four goals on his first appearance with the latter club.
