Andrew Gardner, captain of the Lincoln City football team, was married at Lincoln on Saturday to Miss Florence Smallman, daughter of an old City player. After the ceremony the bride accompanied her husband to Leicester, where he captained the City against the Fosse. Two generations of Lincoln City players were present in the church.
