Drunk and disorderly at Southport

Thursday, November 16 – 1916
Two Everton sailors – Robert Aspinall (21) and Albert Jones (20) – were fined 10s each, at Southport, to-day, on charges of being drunk and disorderly and assaulting P.C. Isaac Addison.
They were on leave from the Navy, and went to Southport to see the football match against Liverpool. Drink was given to them by friends.
The Chairman (Mr. Booth) said that people who treated others to drink were the enemies of every decent man.
