The Academical have signed on James Nicholl, the Morningside lad; he played for the Lanarkshire Junior League against Ireland in season 1906-7. His first senior club was Aidrieonians; he was with Liverpool when the war broke out. He has played for Wishaw Thistle off and on for a couple of seasons; he occupied the outside left berth.
