Liverpool would seem to have the component parts of a fine side next season. Longworth, Lacey, Scott, Mackinlay, Lewis, the brothers Wadsworth, Bamber, with several young ex-soldiers.
According to one report Kenny Campbell is said not have re-signed “as yet”; it is whispered there is a question of benefit to be settled first.
Hafekost and Chambers shaped well in their reunion match Saturday. The latter is said to be the last capture made by the late Tom Watson, the anniversary of whom demise occurs about this month.
