Tom Miller, on his day, is one of the most brilliant pivots in the country, but he is unfortunate in that he is not consistent. No moodier player kicks a ball to-day. That is why the Liverpool directors have been angling for Duncan Walker, Dumbarton’s clever centre-forward.
