Liverpool placed to their credit last week their twelfth consecutive game without defeat, and their record is a splendid one considering that they have been without the services for many weeks of their international right half, John Bamber, who was in September last stricken down with appendicitis. Bamber is now recuperating, and may be in the field again shortly. (Derby Daily Telegraph, 12-11-1921).
