Liverpool are creating quite a flutter amongst the members of the International Selection Committee by their choosing Ephraim Longworth over the head and shoulders of Tommy Lucas, the choice made by England against Ireland. The fact of the matter is, Longworth is a brilliant back, and if Lucas is better he is ultra-brilliant! Longworth has now played in two successive matches to the exclusion of Lucas.
