Arthur Stevenson, who is quite young, is the son of a famous full-back, General Stevenson (“General” is his Christian name), who captained Millwall for eight years, and at Mid-Rhondda he has left at least two other players who will join League clubs before long. One is Brown, a custodian, who is said to be fancied by a Liverpool club, and the other is Vallis, an outside right, a younger brother of the Bristol City custodian.
