The final practice match of the Exeter City teams take place at St. James’ Park, Exeter, this evening when two new players will be on view. William Cunningham, a left half from Mid-Rhondda (who was a understudy at Liverpool to Bromilow, and Barrow, having played 39 games in season 1923-24, weighs 11st. 7lbs. and stands 5ft. 7½in.
A Scottish centre forward with a big reputation is John Quinn, who was with Motherwell in 1923-24, and was exchanged for Cringan, the Third Lanark centre half. He participated in Lanark’s trial match two weeks ago, and scored four out of five. He stands 5ft. 8 ins. and weighs 11st. 7lb. Both men are at Exeter on a month trial.
