John Marshall has left Bath City Football Club. The Vice-chairman (Councillor A.A. Hunt) said: “The agreement has been cancelled by mutual consent. I understand that Marshall was leaving Bath on Wednesday for his home in Scotland.”
Marshall is a Scottish junior International inside forward. He was at Stockport before coming to Bath. His first English Club, however, was Liverpool, by whom he was transferred to Stockport. Since he came to Bath, he has only made a few appearances in the first team, but he has scored quite a number of goals for the reserves.
He was one of the professionals engaged on the levelling work on the new ground at Twerton, where splendid progress has been made.
