David Pratt take control of Clapton Orient

June 29, 1933
Having had their suspension by the F.A. removed, Clapton Orient are making preparations for what they hope will be a successful season, and one of the first steps taken is the appointment of Mr. David Pratt, player-manager of Yeovil and Petters’ United F.C., as secretary-manager in place of Mr. James Seed, who is now with Charlton Athletic.

Mr. S.E. Hawkins, acting secretary since Mr. Seed’s departure, will continue as assistant to Mr. Pratt, who joined Yeovil from Bury, and formerly played for Liverpool.
