Harry Race transferred to Nottingham Forest


Wednesday, August 16 – 1933
Some clubs have made wholesale changes, but the newcomers to Trentside number 2 – Harry Race, the inside-left for whom Manchester City paid £3,000 to Liverpool, and Len Barry, the outside left who left Meadow Lane for Filbert Street after building up a big reputation with Notts County. Both are forwards, as one would expect, seeing that it was in the main the shortcomings of the front line which let Forest down last season.
