The remains of the late Mr. Andrew Hunter were removed from his residence at Hopeton Street, Belfast, to the City Cemetery on Saturday. Mr. Hunter, who was held in high esteem in the neighbourhood, was a noted international footballer, playing for Distillery, Belfast Celtic, and Sheffield Wednesday.
Messrs. Melville & Co., Ltd., had charge of the funeral arrangements.
