I am sorry to learn this morning that Billy Dunlop is bereaved by the death of his wife after a long illness – lasting indeed over some years.
It is only about a fortnight ago that I spoke to her in her bath-chair. She could not see me, but she knew my voice.
The sympathies of all sportsmen will be with our old friend Billy, who has been at Roker Park over a quarter of a century.
