Table tennis is strenuous and earnest these days. Bull, the Worcestershire cricket professional, recently collapsed during a table tennis match in Budapest.
Already the fifteen national teams which are to contest the Swaythling Cup (the equivalent of the Davis Cup) are in strict training.
Two “Cup players” from Liverpool, I am told, are in the ruthless hands of the trainers of Everton and Liverpool Football teams.
