Injury crisis for Liverpool

Thursday, January 3 – 1935
Four Liverpool players are undergoing special treatment at Harrogate for injuries. Arthur Riley, the goalkeeper, is taking baths and massage for a back injury, and Gordon Hodgson and Harold Taylor are being X-rayed for injuries to the ankle and foot. Alf Hanson, who has been injured for the past fortnight, is undergoing special treatment to strengthen an ankle which was at one time thought to have been broken. These injuries may upset Liverpool’s team to meet the Arsenal on Saturday.
