Mr. Harry P. Lewis, a former Hull City F.C. manager, who recently underwent an operation and is now, happily, quite recovered, has set up business in Sheffield, by the proceeds of a benefit match generously played by the Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday teams. During this week Mr. Lewis received a gift of eight international “caps,” from Ernest Blenkinsop, now with Liverpool, and they are a great attraction in the shop window of Mr. Lewis. The gift by Blenkinsop is in recognition of Mr. Lewis’s action in first setting the ex-international on the road to football fame by introducing him to the Hull City F.C. after discovering him playing for a junior club at Cudworth.
