Belfast Celtic won the Irish League championship on Saturday, and Elisha Scott, the goalkeeper, won another medal. It was the great Irishman’s first Irish League medal, though he possesses two Football League medals, gained when with Liverpool.
Scott as 30 international caps, and here he is at 43 years of age winning another honour and playing as well as ever. Twenty-two of his 26 seasons were spent with Liverpool. Truly, a remarkable athlete.
