Neil McBain, manager of Watford is leaving the club he served for nine yards. Watford directors yesterday issued the following statement:
“Neil McBain, owing to sudden illness in his family, asked the club directors to release him forthwith from his engagement as manager. The directors have consented to release him now rather than change during the season For the time being, W. Findlay, who was recently appointed under-manager, is fulfilling the manager’s duties.”
