Liverpool F.C. have placed on the transfer list Ernest Blenkinsop, the English international back, and former Hull City player, who joined the Merseyside club from Sheffield Wednesday in 1934. This action has been taken by the mutual consent of player and club.
Blenkinsop was almost a regular choice as left back for England a few years ago. He was first chosen by his country in 1929 and has played five times each against Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. He captained England on several occasions.
