Liverpool are to follow their usual training operations at Anfield, while golf at Childwell will provide the diversion. The Cup team is likely to be Dirk Kemp, Jim Harley, Bernard Ramsden, Matt Busby, Fred Rogers, James McInnes, Berry Nieuwenhuys, Phil Taylor, Willie Fagan, Jack Balmer, Harry Eastham.
The only change from the side which won at Charlton is likely to be Nieuwenhuys for Bill Jones. Tom Bush’s knee injury is likely to prevent him from being considered.
