Tranmere Rovers Football Club are to install a new recreation room at Prenton Park for the use by the players. It will cost the club a few hundreds of pounds to build and equip the recreation room, but the work is already in hand. The room itself is now under course of construction and will be delivered at the ground shortly.
This is a good move for it enables the players to keep together in their leisure hours. The recreation rooms at Anfield and Goodison park are exceptionally popular and are rarely found empty. Everton’s room is open to the players in the evenings.
