Several Liverpool F.C. players who volunteered for the 9th King’s Liverpool Battalion of Territorials have received notice of promotion. Arthur Riley and Dirk Kemp, the goalkeepers, have been made sergeants, and Tommy Cooper, Willie Fagan, Bernard Ramsden, and Tom Bush have been promoted to lance-corporals.
