Liverpool F.C.’s Herman Van den Berg back in South Africa

Herman van den Berg, Liverpool’s South African winger, will regain his amateur status on August 5 next year, the South African Football Association announces.

Van den Berg is back in South Africa, the South African F.A. point out that if he returns to England as a professional he won’t be eligible for further reinstatement as an amateur in South Africa.
