Sgt. Peter Kane, RAF, won the final Northern area eliminating championship contest by knocking out Joe Curran, Liverpool, in the eleventh round on the Liverpool football ground yesterday. Both men weighed inside the 8 stone flyweight limit, Curran being 4lb. lighter than Kane.
