He was my dad’s grandfather’s (James Kelso) brother
I am the grandaughter of his nephew Tom Kelso, also a footballer, and I was also born in Cardross.
Tommy Kelso was your grandfather? Fantastic! He played for Manchester City for many years along with Dumbarton, Rangers, Dundee and Scotland national team (which I’m sure you knew). We have a framed picture of Tommy (print from the internet) – Man City is my son’s favorite club and he loved having Tommy’s team picture in his room.
