Jim Harley, the Liverpool F.C. full back, who belongs to Methil, Fife, has been mentioned in dispatches in connection with the combined raid on Dieppe.
Harley, who is in the navy, has been reserve for Scotland several times. He won the Powderhall handicap in 1936 under the name of J.H. Mitchell.
