Team flash from Anfield, per Secretary-Manager Mr. George Kay, is that Harry Eastham is on leave, and his name goes in with the Liverpool probables. This will be Eastham’s first appearance of the season with the Reds, but Harry has been playing a lot of football in the League South and has been a vital factor – with John Shafto – in the big revival of Brighton and Hove. Eastham recently scored a couple of goals in Brighton’s 4-1 win at Crystal Palace.
Mr. Kay says that he cannot, as yet, be more definite about the Liverpool side, and his list still has four half-backs, three backs and six forwards. Doubt whether Mr. Kay will be able to settle the team until just before the kick off, but he has the talent at his command.
