“In the present war team spirit among the Allied Nations has turned the corner for all of us,” said Mr. Richard Lawson Martindale, Liverpool Rotary club’s new president, today when he was installed in office.
Mr. Martindale, who is chairman of Liverpool Football Club, urged members to support youth movements whole-heartedly, adding: “The youth of our country should not be allowed to kick tin cans about after the war. They should be provided with football. Many youths have fallen into mischief through lack of facilities to play games.”
