Jackie Paterson, Glasgow, the world flyweight boxing champion, has agreed to meet Ronnie Clayton, Blackpool, in the bantam-weight championships’ eliminating contest at Anfield Football Ground, Liverpool, on Saturday, August 12.
The promoter, Mr. Johnny Best, is asking the Board of Control to confirm the date.
