Laurie Hughes, the Liverpool centre half who was injured in the match against Everton on Boxing Day is, states Manager Mr. George Kay, fit again to resume when required.
Billy Liddell, the Scottish international, returns to duty for the cup qualifying match with Stockport County at Anfield on Saturday, and, as I mentioned on Monday, Phil Taylor is expected to be fit again, so Liverpool have a pretty useful array of talent providing, as Mr. Kay guardedly says, they all turn up.
Liverpool: Alf Hobson, Jack Blood, Jeff Gulliver, Harry Kaye, Laurie Hughes, Jack Pilling, Jack Campbell, Berry Nieuwenhuys, Phil Taylor, Don Welsh, Billy Liddell.
