Liverpool, who open their season with a visit to Burnley, will field a strong eleven. Balmer, now thoroughly fit – he was in good form on the German tour – returns to the attack, but unfortunately Cyril Done is not yet able to resume. His return should not be long delayed, however. Team from: –
