Alec Muir, Lochgelly Violet’s inside left last season, has signed for Liverpool. An Inverkeithing lad, he works in Caldwell’s Paper Mill, but will give up his job to travel south next week. He played trials for Falkirk last season.
While Alec was signing for Liverpool, Raith Rovers’ manager, Herdman, was on his way to Muir’s home with the same object in view.
