Southport have paid the highest fee in their history for the transfer of Jack Westby, right full back from Liverpool, and formerly with Blackburn Rovers. He will appear for his new club against Stockport County at Haigh Avenue tomorrow.
Westby, who is 29, 5ft. 11in, and more than 11st, played regularly as a guest for Liverpool during the war.
