Malcolm Glazzard turns professional with Liverpool

Malcolm Glazzard, aged 17, a six-foot, 11½ stone inside forward, yesterday signed professional forms for Liverpool F.C., on whose books, as an amateur he has been since he was 14. Last season he played for England Army Cadets against Ireland and Wales. An Ellesmere Port boy, he attended and played for Wirral Grammar School and is proceeding to Liverpool University.
