Football stars at home: Eddie Spicer

October 1, 1949
Eddie Spicer looks cheerfully successful about the bit of home decorating in progress on the right, although it was his first attempt at paper-hanging. “But don’t stick at it too long,” says Norma (that is Mrs. Spicer), “I want some flowers from the garden, and you might as well put those seedlings in at the same time. Come on, my boy.” That done, there’s a break for a nice cup of tea, and perhaps a chat on how well Liverpool F.C. are doing, and why. Happy Days!
