Billy Liddell, Liverpool’s Scottish International winger, in Lisbon today denied reports that he had been approached by the Millionarios Club, of Bogota, Columbia.
“I am quite happy with Liverpool,” declared Liddell, who is with Scotland’s team who play Portugal on Sunday.
Liddell did not know how the reports originated. “I have seen no officials of the Bogota club and have no contact with them,” he said.
“I don’t know whether they have approached my club, but in any case I am very well settled with Liverpool and would not like to leave.”
