Cyril Sidlow, Welsh international goalkeeper, and Willie Fagan, inside forward, a Scottish wartime cap, are among seven Liverpool players offered for transfer.
Others on the list are centre-forwards Kevin McCurley (ex-Brighton) and Peter Gee, local full back Arthur Shepherd, outside left Ken Brierley, and centre-half Joe Cadden.
Brierley and Cadden are for transfer at their own request.
