Inverness Caledonian’s schoolboy centre-forward, Donnie McIntosh, yesterday celebrated his 17th birthday by signing professional forms for Rangers.
McIntosh, who is the Scottish Youth sprint champion, has made less than 12 appearances in Caley’s senior side. In April he played three trials for Liverpool. A month ago he was signed on amateur forms by Rangers.
Last Wednesday night, under the name of John Black, he played for Rangers “A”.
