The funeral of Frank Mitchell

The funeral of Mr. Francis William Grant Mitchell (Frank Mitchell), of 73 Bouverie Street, Chester, who died on Saturday, aged 68, took place on Wednesday, when a service at All Saints’ Church, Hoole, was conducted by Rev. R.A.P. Gell. The interment was at Blacon Cemetery.

For some years Mr. Mitchell had been goalkeeper for the Everton and Liverpool Football Clubs. For the past 12 years he had been employed by the Northgate Brewery Co.

The mourners were: Mr. and Mrs. S. Mitchell (son and daughter-in-law).

Others present included: Mr. J. Loder, Mr. Parry, Mr. Rae, Mr. Lucey, Mr. Pulford, Mr. Layfield, Mr. A. Broad, Mr. T. Whalley, and Mr. C. Williams (Northgate Brewery).

The undertakers were Messrs. W.H. Hallmark and Son.
