Warning to spectators

Arising out of an incident which occurred during the Football League match with Sheffield Wednesday played at Anfield on October 25, 1958, the Football Association has notified the club that the Disciplinary Committee have ordered that Warning Notices be posted in prominent positions on the ground for one month, and that the Official Programme contain for the same period a warning to spectators similar to that in the Warning Notices.

As the club is held responsible for the conduct of every individual spectators, the Police have been instructed to prosecute any future offender. Spectators are requested to assist the club by restraining any person from taking part in any incident which is likely to bring disrepute to the club.
